Over Six years ago, I was broken and worried,

When I heard about you, I really hurried,

To the coast, to save us from distress,

Behind those loving eyes, was a mess,

Not cared for properly, and treated bad,

You leapt into my car, and  we stopped being sad.

 

You watched over me, with your angelic gaze,

I'd found a friend for life, who'd always amaze,

I took you home, and had no fear,

I was never afraid when you were near,

Due to your power, you had to know I was boss,

But you were well fed and ran, and regained your gloss.

 

Proud and noble beast, so gentle and loyal,

Devastated you had to leave this mortal coil,

Tess my baby, you gave so much pleasure,

Every single moment , I did treasure,

Though sometimes, there was bits of trouble,

It mattered not because I loved you double.

 

You made me smile, when I was in sadness

You looked so tough, but without any badness,

I hope you loved me, as I did  you,

I'm sorry I wasn't always there too,

But we'll meet again one day out there,

In the meantime I will always care,

I hope you're happy, running free, and safe,

From your broken-hearted, daddy- Nath.
